Revolutionizing regenerative medicine
Cellergy is producing a large quantity of mitochondrial product from human primary sources for systemic, repeated administration, using fully matched allogeneic purified mitochondria delivered via IV for major systemic indications such as CNS disorders, muscle degeneration, and aging.
PROPRIETARY SOURCE AND PROCESS
Mitochondria source is the key to making effective therapy.
Our source is:
-
Primary: non-transformed primary cells.
-
High-quality: excellent respiration capacity.
-
Scalable: massive expansion of the source cells in a cost-efficient process.
MANUFACTURING
Large scale mitochondria manufacturing process, GMP-grade, to enable systemic repeated administration for multiple indications.
ALLOGENEIC
Transplantation of mitochondria from a young and healthy donor to an aging or degenerative recipient, requires careful matching.
Our breakthrough ML based model predicts donor/recipient matching, making allogeneic mitochondrial transplantation safe and effective.
Our Vision
Transforming Human Health
By providing the power of young and healthy mitochondria to energize cells, fight degenerative diseases and enhance healthy longevity.

Why Mitochondria
The Cell's Powerhouse
Mitochondria transforms food fuel into cellular energy (ATP) which is critical to all cellular functions such as protein synthesis, DNA repair, muscle contraction, and waste removal.
A single human cell contains ~500-2500 mitochondria, depending on cell type. It is most abundant in tissues with high energy demand - muscles, brain and liver.

Degenerative diseases, and aging, often start with damage to mitochondria. Mutations in the mtDNA accumulate, the membrane lipids get oxidized. Once energy production is depleted, the cell starts to degenerate.
Mitochondrial DNA
Mitochondria have their own small circular DNA coding for 13 proteins of the respiratory machinery; the rest of the mitochondrial proteins are encoded in the cell nucleus (~1200).
